Blessed Sacrament School is successful, our students are excelling and every day we’re making a difference in our community. Staff: 80% of our staff are members of Blessed Sacrament Parish. Teachers average 11 years teaching experience. Three staff members have Masters degrees.
Stanford Achievement Test: Over 94% of our students scored at or above national average in EVERY area with rates as high as 98% in some! (‘05-’06 scores)
Catholicism: Students are provided spiritual guidance and enrichment via daily religion class. They attend and participate in weekly student Mass as well as regularly attending reconciliation, Stations of the Cross and adoration.
Technology: Our school has 25 stations in its computer lab with students receiving weekly computer instruction. All computers have Internet access and we offer the following computer skills: Accelerated Reader Program, Learning Expedition Math and Reading, Harcourt Math Program, and K eyboarding.
Extra-curricular Activities: PE, Music, Library, Art, Spanish and Annual Science Fair as well as Art Show.
Student-led Service Projects: Food collections for the Food Pantry, Pennies for Puppies, Pen Pals with military parishioners serving in Iraq, Prayer Partners, Heifer Project – Read to Feed program.
After School Care: After school care available on site.
Tuition and Scholarships: Affordable tuition with over $20,000 in scholarships provided to students in 2007.
